On the slopes of Huehuetenango, Finca El Naranjo is run by Jose Moreira. The result is a vibrant coffee with notes of orange and sugar cane, carried by a gentle sweetness. Round and balanced, a coffee that shines both as espresso and filter.
The coffee is washed processed, with a unique twist. Due to the climate, fermentation slows down, so depulping is postponed by one day. This allows fermentation to proceed more evenly, resulting in a more complex profile. The beans are dried on patios and carefully moved throughout the day. The result is a coffee that brings tradition and precision together in every cup.
